Dominion Electric Supply, Arlington, Va., which serves the greater Washington D.C./Baltimore metro area, opened a new service center in Chantilly, Va. At 70,000 square feet, the facility combines warehouse, counter and office space. The new building is connected to the existing 32,000-square-foot warehouse and residential lighting showroom. Dominion Electric said customers can expect its $12 million inventory to grow even larger and its ability to provide complete next-day delivery on most orders to improve with the new facility.
