Atlanta Light Bulbs (ALB) celebrated 30 years in business with a special celebration at its third annual customer appreciation day in October. Over 220 customers were welcomed to the shindig with an Atlanta Light Bulbs tote bag, a 30 year anniversary t-shirt, and various gifts from sponsoring vendors. After picking up their totes, customers visited each vendor's table to check out their newest lighting technologies, view product demonstrations and to register for vendor door prizes. Halco Lighting Technologies provided a catered lunch by famed Atlanta restaurant, “The Varsity.” After lunch, the Atlanta Light Bulbs family of customers, vendors and friends celebrated the big day with a custom-made birthday cake. Door prizes supported by ALB's vendors included a 42-in flatscreen TV, a stainless steel grill, Maui Jim sunglasses and thousands of dollars in gift cards. And ALB customers didn't necessarily have to be there to win.

“This year was phenomenal. We were able to integrate the celebration at our Tucker distribution center with social media and email marketing in order to enter customers who could not be at the event,” said Doug Root, ALB's director of sales and marketing. “So in the end we were able to say thank you to all of our customers, both in Atlanta and those throughout the country.”
