Calpipe Industries Inc., a manufacturer of conduit products for corrosive environments under the divisions of Calconduit, Calbrite, Calbond, and security products under Calpipe Security Bollards, announced they are expanding and will be opening a brand new, state-of-the art facility in Hobart, Ind. It’s the most recent capital investment the company has made in new machinery, equipment and process improvement to increase throughput velocity and accuracy, and expanded region-specific products for customers.
“Our strategic expansion plan is based on continual improvement to our operations and our customer service. The Hobart facility marks the second such expansion in the last 18 months and will serve as the Midwest Master Distribution Center for Calpipe’s electrical divisions and Calbrite, Calbond and Calconduit brands. This facility encompasses over 85,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, a state-of-the art customer training center, an onsite research, product development and testing area, and will incorporate innovative warehousing and operational methods and processes.
