Habitat for Humanity Recognizes Summit Electric Supply

Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity, celebrating 25 years of service this year, recognized Summit Electric Supply's support for its 156th home building

Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity, celebrating 25 years of service this year, recognized Summit Electric Supply's support for its 156th home building project.

“Summit has donated materials to almost all of our projects since we started 25 years ago,” said Dona Swenson, development coordinator. “We're happy to be able to personally thank you for your support.”

Summit's Albuquerque location has supported Habitat for Humanity projects in Albuquerque, Valencia County, and in Santa Fe. Swenson, along with Nila Scarberry, ReStore director, visited to Summit's Albuquerque corporate headquarters and presented a floor tile thank-you plaque to Albuquerque Service Center Leader Wiley Shaw and Jarred Killgore, customer service representative who manages Habitat for Humanity's material requests.

“Habitat for Humanity does great work for the communities it serves” Shaw said. “We've always been glad to donate to their projects through the years.”
