In honor of Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day, Hein Electric Supply, Brookfield, Wis., held a promotional fundraiser during the week of May 19-May 23, and raised funds to donate to Stars and Stripes Honor Flight of Wisconsin.
On, July 25th, the associates of Hein Electric Supply welcomed Paula Nelson, president of Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, to the company’s headquarters in Brookfield, WI, and presented her with a check in the amount of $12,666.58. The donation will help send 25 veterans to the memorials in Washington D.C., this fall.
“We are overwhelmed by the support we received from our customers and our associates, said Ron Kohlenberg, president of Hein Electric Supply. “We chose to work with Stars and Stripes Honor Flight because it is a local organization that is 100% volunteer. In addition, the majority of the donations received go directly towards sending the veterans to DC for a day to visit the memorials. We are so proud to be able to give something back to those who put service before self.”
Hein Electric Supply has nine locations throughout southeast Wisconsin and was ranked #169 on Electrical Wholesaling’s Top 200 ranking.
