Leviton Hosts Electrical Inspectors Meeting

Leviton Manufacturing hosted an annual meeting of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) New York Chapter at its global headquarters in Melville, N.Y., on Monday, May 7, presenting the latest green initiatives in the electrical industry to more than 60 top electrical inspectors, contractors, engineers and industry experts.

Leviton representatives presented the IAEI with an overview of the company's sustainable and intelligent products, including in lighting controls, compatible dimming devices for energy-efficient lamps, energy management and retrofit products for commercial applications, residential solar power systems and electric-vehicle supply equipment (EVSE).

“We feel it is our responsibility as good corporate citizens and stewards of the environment to partner with the inspector and contractor communities to prepare for the next generation of energy-efficient homes, buildings, businesses and infrastructure,” said William Marshall, Leviton's senior vice president, sales and marketing. “Participating in the IAEI meeting demonstrates our strong commitment to providing electrical professionals with the key tools necessary to address new, energy-efficient opportunities in the industry, and help them prepare for the new wave of green initiatives in the industry.”
