Summit Electric Supply opened its Orlando, Fla., service center in January with a casino and poker themed event that drew about 300 participants. Two visitors won new Suzuki ATVs.

The “Full House Giveaway” event was held at Summit's 49,600-square-foot facility. Representatives from 20 leading manufacturers participated with product displays and demonstrations. Guests needed to have their attendance cards stamped by each vendor in order to be in the ATV giveaway drawing.

“The event allowed us to showcase our facility and inventory to our customer base,” says Harvey Neeley, service center leader.

Matthew Key, an apprentice with Bright Future Electric LLC, and Stacey Currie, chief estimator for Kelly Electric LLC, each won a Suzuki Ozark 250 ATV.

“I've been in the industry in central Florida more than 20 years,” Currie said. “So many people came it was like a nice reunion event as well. Vendors presented good product information. It was good to see the latest in equipment and materials.”
