Werner Electric Supply Co., Neenah, Wis., hosted over 700 key customers and vendors at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, Appleton, Wis., capping a year-long celebration of Werner Electric's 60th year in business. Key vendor partners joined Werner in welcoming top customers to the gala event. Guests enjoyed great food and a great time in a classy venue, the company said. Headlining the event was a performance by six-time country vocal group of the year, Diamond Rio. The band performed many of their greatest hits and met with guests afterwards.

“This was a perfect way to celebrate the relationships we've formed over the years and forge new ones that will maintain our success in the future,” said Lynn T. MacDonald, president and CEO of Werner Electric Supply. “It was a truly memorable event.”

Since MacDonald bought the company from the Werner family in 1984, Werner Electric Supply has grown from $7 million in sales to over $200 million. His focus on diversification both in markets served and products offered has been key in Werner Electric's ability to stay strong during tough economic times.

“Our business model has obviously centered on diversification and expansion,” says MacDonald, “but the execution of these plans takes strong partnerships with customers and vendors.”
