Lutron's first International Experience Center will be located in Markham, Ontario, just outside Toronto. The center will showcase a variety of wireless lighting and shading control solutions for commercial spaces. “We recognize the importance of Toronto as an international specification location and wanted to add the appropriate resources to best serve our Canadian customers,” said Tom Ike, Lutron's V.P. of global sales. “We look forward to growing our presence here and servicing this important market.”

Ground-breaking on the Canadian facility, a commercial experience center and specification office began this month. The LEED Gold-certified 2,800 square-foot space will celebrate its grand opening this summer. Although the Canadian facility will be Lutron's eighth experience center in North America, it will be its first outside the U.S. Other lighting centers are located in Plantation, Fla.; New York; Coopersburg, Pa.; Seattle; Irvine, Calif.; and Washington, D.C.
