BEW Electrical Distributors, a 12-branch UK distributor, recently won the 2012 Electrical Wholesaler of the Year Award in the “Over £20 million turnover category” from Electrical Times magazine. The competition's judges said, “BEW demonstrates real investment in its staff, whilst providing a great service for its clients. It is no mean feat catering for, and valuing everyone when you are such a large company. It is clear from the testimonials received that they garner loyalty from both their customers and employees.”
In a press release posted at the BEW website, Phil Webb, the company's chairman said, “This was a fantastic reward for a busy year in which we opened two new branches and relocated a third. The business grew by 30%, spearheaded by an innovative awards campaign which gave recognition to a lot of hard work.”
