Twenty-five vendors helped Active Electrical Supply, Chicago, host its 4th Annual OctoberFest Trade Show on Sept. 28. Beautiful autumn weather, great barbecue and the chance to chat face-to-face with vendor representatives enticed more than 150 customers to attend the event.

Customers were invited to take part in a treasure hunt as part of the festivities. Twenty-three treasure chests loaded with cash, gift certificates and vendor logo merchandise, were pirated away by customers lucky enough to hold a winning key. A $250 cash raffle was also held for those customers who visited all 25 vendor booths.

“We like to ensure that all of our vendors are visited during our trade show,” said Active's Marketing Director Sandy Hartogh. “We try different ideas each year to encourage our customers to see what each vendor has to offer. The treasure chests we placed on the vendor tables were a big hit!”
