A-D realigns units after Aldridge, board depart Douglas Chandler Sep 1, 1998 12:00 PM Affiliated Distributors, Inc. (A-D) took steps to streamline its operations following the departure of Tom Aldridge, former executive vice president, and the replacement of its board of directors. The King of Prussia, Pa.-based buying/marketing group named Chris Hartmann vice president of marketing and supplier relations. Hartmann will handle supplier relations, marketing and national contracts administration. Aldridge left A-D in July after eight years to become senior vice president of Industrial Distribution Group, a roll-up of industrial distributors based in Atlanta, Ga. His departure came quickly after A-D replaced its entire board of directors. A-D officials acknowledged but declined to comment on the board change. Outgoing directors declined to comment, citing confidentiality agreements. They said, however, that A-D is financially on solid footing, and that they continue to support the organization.
