In a move that propels it into the voice/data market, B&K Electric Wholesale, City of Industry, Calif., has acquired Sanger Associates, Inc., Van Nuys, Calif.

Sanger Associates, with five employees, one location and approximately $3 million in 1999 annual sales, has supplied communications equipment in the San Fernando Valley over the past 30 years. The acquisition will give B&K Electric Wholesale a voice/data products inventory in excess of $300,000 and a team of knowledgeable communications people.

B&K Electric Wholesale, with 86 employees, five locations and an estimated $31 million in 1999 annual sales, is the nation's 184th largest electrical distributor, according to Electrical Wholesaling's 250 Biggest listing.

The new company will be called B&K Electric Wholesale dba Sanger Communications.
