CD Helps Select Proper Protection Device

Feb 1, 2006 12:00 PM

A free CD-ROM features a selection guide program to help electrical engineers, specifiers and contractors to specify the correct surge protection device or TVSS for specific applications.

Intermatic Inc., Spring Grove, Ill., is providing the CD. It includes product guide specifications and product installation instructions in both Word and WordPerfect formats. A spec writer program will assist in creating a protection specification that meets NEMA LS-1 criteria and guidelines.

Products covered include hardwired surge protectors from 26 kA to 400 kA per phase; residential and industrial secondary surge arresters (lightning arresters); residential hardwired surge protection devices; and telephone/modem/DSL, and coax/satellite/cable modem line protection devices.

For your free copy of the CD, call Mike Boyd at (815) 675-7068 or send an e-mail to mboyd@intermatic.com. (Request item 300IG10257.)
