C&O Sales Co., Overland Park, Kan., recently held its 40th anniversary bash, which several dozen manufacturers, distributors, customers and industry friends attended.

Jack O'Neill, father of Kevin O'Neill, company vice president, and Dean Clendenen founded the independent manufacturers' rep in 1965 representing a single factory, Capital Wire and Cable. Doug Carlson is C&O's current president.
