W.W. Grainger Inc. hosted the “King of the Contractors” competition on June 1 at its Florence, Ky., location. Contractors raced through an industrial obstacle course designed to test their speed and precision at a variety of tasks, including installing lighting, cutting piping and hammering nails. Local electrical contractor Matt Averbeck was crowned king and received the grand prize, a Grainger shopping spree.
