The Electrical Products Group of Federal Signal has introduced five-year product warranty coverage for their audible and visual signaling product lines.

Federal Signal's ability to more than double the length of its product warranty is derived from the company's continuous focus on the improvement of product design, vendor management, and manufacturing processes, said a press release.

Ninety-eight percent of the company's products continue to be manufactured at its University Park, Ill., facility, despite an industry trend toward outsourcing production to subcontractors and offshore suppliers.
