Flexible safety switch solutions

Cutler-Hammer/Westinghouse, Pittsburgh, Pa., announced the opening of its Safety Switch Flex Center in Cleveland, Tenn., located next to the existing Cleveland plant. The new 5,000-sq-ft facility houses all the staff and equipment needed to build and modify safety switches on site. The Flex Center can modify the company's safety switches to meet many specs and the customer's deadline, filling an order for a modified switch in a matter of hours or days. Modifications that can be provided include custom coloring, class J and R fuse clips, fuse pullers, crimp lugs, copper lug provisions, custom cut-outs, mounting brackets and other special modifications.
