R & S Electric Supply Co., Inc., of Stratford, Conn., a full-service, independent electrical distributor, celebrated its 40th anniversary in October. Established in 1957 by R.A. Morcone, its present CEO, the company began its existence in a "corner grocery-store location" in Bridgeport. R & S Electric Supply still serves contractor, commercial, OEM and industrial customers, and has many customers who date back to the "corner grocery-store days."
