GE'S LIGHTING INSTITUTE CONFERENCE SCHEDULE Jan 1, 2004 12:00 PM GE Lighting's renowned Lighting Institute at the historic Nela Park campus in Cleveland has announced its conference schedule for the first half of 2004. Distributor sales representatives will be particularly interested in the basic and advanced distributor sales representative courses. The basic course, offered Feb. 25-27 at a cost of $450, will enhance distributor sales reps' effectiveness in selling lamps and lighting products. The comprehensive program reviews lamp types, lighting systems and applications in commercial, industrial, retail and outdoor lighting. Attendees will learn to recognize opportunities and provide sound advice to customers and clients on all aspects of lighting, including energy savings, lamp retrofits and lighting upgrades. The advanced course, offered May 17-19 at a cost of $450, is meant for the experienced distributor sales representative who wants an edge in today's lighting market. This conference demonstrates how the latest innovations in lighting provide value to the customer. Topics include advances in lamps and lighting systems, market trends, cost-of-light analysis, and how to use e-tools to sell lighting value and upgrades.
