The Hite Co., Altoona, Pa., is recognizing its 50th birthday this year with special celebrations and activities scheduled at each of its 15 locations. Customer appreciation days and mini trade shows featuring key suppliers are being planned to provide customers with product information through technical training seminars and product demonstrations by product manufacturers. Also planned are a variety of promotional activities including a repeat of the "Celebration of Savings" event held during the company's 45th anniversary. A popular event, it features the sale of money-saving coupon booklets, the proceeds from which are returned to local communities through donations to various charitable organizations.

"We take this opportunity to celebrate and thank our many loyal customers and friends who have allowed us to serve them in the past and will support us in the years ahead," says Lee Hite, former NAED national chairman and the current Hite Co. president.
