ELECTRICAL WHOLESALING STAFF

Oct 1, 2000 12:00 PM

Bob Vila's current "Home Again" project, the Duany Plater-Zyberk "Lifespan" home located in Mount Pleasant, S.C., has a traditional look but contemporary wiring. In an episode scheduled to air the week of October 9th, the historic-looking coastal home will get some "smart" wiring from Home Automation Inc. (HAI), New Orleans, La.

The wiring allows automated control over various features in the household, from temperature control to appliances to security. HAI manufactures home-automation systems that integrate control of security, lighting, air and heat, fire protection, and appliance control tailored to accommodate a homeowner's individual needs and lifestyle. All systems may be accessed by telephone, personal computers and over the Internet.

For more information on HAI's product line, visit www.homeauto.com, or call 800-229-7256 for a free brochure.
