Hughes Supply Inc., Orlando, Fla., has completed the acquisition of Ram Pipe and Supply Inc., a distributor of plumbing and water and sewer products serving the Yuma, Ariz., area. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Ram Pipe and Supply was formed in 1989 by Ron Martin, who will remain with the company. A single-branch operation, Ram Pipe and Supply has developed a strong reputation as a leader in the residential and commercial plumbing and waterworks markets in the fast-growing Yuma, Ariz., area. The company generated sales of approximately $14 million in its latest fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2004.
