Hughes Supply is 75 years old and going strong. To mark the milestone year, Hughes Supply Inc. is hosting several vendor trade show events throughout the country. The first event, held earlier this year at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, attracted more than 1,500 customers.

In July, Hughes President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Morgan rang the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange. “Hughes is proud to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and participation in the bell-ringing ceremony is a great way to commemorate our 75 years in business,” said Morgan.

Morgan, the first Hughes CEO from outside the Hughes family, was recruited two years ago.

Founded in 1928 and headquartered in Orlando, Fla., Hughes Supply distributes construction and infrastructure materials through more than 450 locations in 34 states. Its electrical supply operations include 102 locations in 16 states.
