Improve Those Mousetraps Gail Johnson Aug 1, 1999 12:00 PM Would you like to help your customers build a better mousetrap? That's the idea behind a new CD-ROM from ERICO, Inc., Solon, Ohio. Titled "The Better Mousetrap," the free CD-ROM provides fastening solutions for electrical, datacom and low-voltage applications through its new interactive program for CADDY Fasteners. Designed to help installers find new ways to build a better mousetrap compared to older CADDY Fasteners and traditional or competitive methods, the interactive program allows you to search new offerings in box hangers and cable and conduit supports to choose the right fastener for the job. The program also allows users to access product information, including features and benefits, step-by-step installation instructions and ordering information, and a feature through which free samples can be ordered. Compatible with both Macs and PCs, the free program can be ordered by calling 800-252-2339 or by faxing your request to 800-853-0874. Note: ERICO has extended its CADDY Scholarship deadline to Dec. 31, 1999 and has increased tuition funds to $200 for prospective BICSI trainees who install CADDY fasteners. BICSI is an international not-for-profit telecommunications association, founded in 1974 to serve and support telephone company building industry consultants (BICs). Throughout 1999, prospective trainees can earn money toward their BICSI education by purchasing products from the ERICO line of CADDY fasteners. For each proof-of-purchase, ERICO will donate $1 toward the tuition for an authorized training class. Simply collect and submit up to 200 proof-of-purchase labels from packages of the fastener products with a redemption card to ERICO. The company will send a redemption check in approximately three to four weeks that can be applied toward class tuition. For more information call 800-252-2339.
