J&B Supply Inc., Fort Smith, Ark., recently was awarded the first annual 2005 Prophet 21 Equity/EDN Distributor Partner of the Year award.

J&B Supply was chosen for its leadership in the electrical industry at large and Equity/EDN specifically. In addition, J&B Supply was recognized for its use of technology to strengthen its position in the marketplace while encouraging other independent distributors to do the same.

“Prophet 21 makes every effort to recognize its outstanding customers,” said Chuck Boyle, president and CEO of Prophet 21, Yardley, Pa. “J&B Supply clearly demonstrates a willingness to embrace new technology to improve and enhance performance.”

Steve Jones, president of J&B Supply, was pleased to receive the award. Jones said his more than 15-year partnership with Prophet 21 has helped him continually improve the way he manages his business while keeping operational costs down.

With approximately 100 employees, J&B Supply operates from eight locations in western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma, supplying electrical, plumbing and heating and air conditioning products.
