JESCO buys GEN-X for Nebraska expansion Douglas Chandler Apr 1, 1999 12:00 PM JESCO Wholesale Electric Supplies, Inc., Sioux Center, Iowa, acquired GEN-X Electric Supply for an undisclosed sum, in a move that expands JESCO's coverage of Nebraska and adds capabilities in the motor market. GEN-X, Beatrice, Neb., is a full-service electrical distributor that also handles motor sales. The 80-year-old company had 1998 sales of about $2 million. GEN-X's motor shop will "diversify JESCO and allow JESCO to sell and service motors from its five locations," said John Franken, JESCO's president and chief operating officer.
