Lutron Announces Market Builders 2007 Program Mar 1, 2007 12:00 PM Lutron Electronics, Coopersburg, Pa., introduced its 2007 Market Builders program for distributors and lighting showrooms, making this the 15th year Lutron has offered this program. Market Builders is designed to bring distributors and showrooms new opportunities for expanding the market and reaching sales goals with lighting controls. Market Builders 2007 focuses on four areas: new products, merchandising, market development, and training: New Products Distributors and lighting showrooms learn about the latest lighting controls and control technology within the wallbox family, and how those new products can help expand the customer base and grow business. Merchandising Utilizing hands-on displays and merchandising tools to increase the Lutron presence at counters. Using space more effectively and creating promotional campaigns has proven to increase awareness and generate interest among customers. Market Development The program teaches distributors how to use co-op dollars to offer new programs, tools and activities to help customers increase their sales of Lutron lighting controls. Training Companies can use co-op dollars to introduce customers to Lutron's newest experience centers in Coopersburg, Pa; Plantation, Fla; and Irvine, Calif, where distributors and their customers have the opportunity to see lighting control in action. In addition, Lutron provides a market development activity planner so that you, together with your Lutron rep, can create a comprehensive strategy to help you achieve sales growth in 2007.
