Lutron offers new program to build sales Gail Johnson Feb 1, 1998 12:00 PM Distributors can qualify for extra sales opportunities and profits by articipating in Market Builders '98, a group of special programs offered by Lutron Electronics Co., Inc., Coopersburg, Pa. Distributors who stock 90% of Lutron's dimming products and support the company through its displays and merchandising have access to added benefits such as the company's EDI Quick Ship Program, which provides for product shipment within 48 hours of receipt of order with no freight charges and no minimum; advance co-op funds on the entire Lutron line, which in many cases will double the dollars available to implement merchandising, training and promotional activities; and listing on Lutron's Web site. Additionally, participating distributors can co-sponsor customer training at Lutron's Lighting Control Institute. If distributors bring three customers to a training session, Lutron will waive the standard $200-per-person training fee and the distributor may co-op up to 50% of the customer's air fare to the Institute."
