Paris-based Groupe Schneider has a new name tag. Looking to increase awareness of Schneider in the electrical industry and reinforce the company's focus on the electrical distribution, industrial control and automation markets, the manufacturing giant has changed its name to Schneider Electric. Under its new corporate identity, Schneider Electric said it will continue to leverage the strength of its four major brands-Square D, Merlin Gerin, Modicon and Telemecanique.
