Friends and family, along with the employees and sales reps of Encore Wire Corp., threw a 75th birthday bash for industry veteran (some say "legend") Vincent Rego, founder and chairman of the McKinney, Texas-based company. Encore Wire President Daniel Jones presented Rego with an Oscar replica on behalf of the employees of Encore for Best Man in a Leading Role. Long-time friend and Encore Wire co-founder Don Spurgin made a surprise visit to the celebration. All agreed it was a birthday party in grand fashion that won't soon be forgotten.
