Philips Lighting Co., Somerset, N.J., recently recognized Swift Electrical Supply Co., Teterboro, N.J., and Bright Electrical Supply Co., Chicago, for achieving the highest status in its Green Leadership program. To achieve this elite status, the two electrical distributors had to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability in five areas: promotions, merchandising, training, selling and recycling. The Philips Lighting program recognizes electrical distributors who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to driving environmentally-responsible, sustainable business through both their business practices and the products and solutions they offer to their customers.
