Plasti-Bond Sends Contractor to Super Bowl Apr 1, 2005 12:00 PM Imagine competing in a football pool for a chance to win tickets to the Super Bowl — and winning! Stan Maynes of Saulsbury Electric in New Mexico scored big with Super Bowl tickets as the winner of Plasti-Bond's RedH2ot Winning Combination League (WCL) Football Game for Electrical Contractors. Each week last season, 50 contestants received an e-mail to select the NFL teams they thought would win. Prizes were awarded every week and each player's points accumulated until the end of the season. The player with the most points won two free tickets to the Super Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla. “Everyone was pretty close in points,” said Maynes. “It could have been any one of us at the Super Bowl.” Plasti-Bond is headquartered in Gilmer, Texas.
