Power Pouch for Ideal Connectors

Jan 1, 2007 12:00 PM

Sometimes innovations in packaging can make a huge difference to your customers. Ideal Inc., Sycamore, Ill., is introducing its popular Wire-Nut, Wing-Nut, Twister, Twister PRO and Buchanan brand B-CAP wire connectors in the new Power Pouch, which Ideal says is the electrical industry's only resealable, stand-up flexible packaging for wire connectors.

Designed for convenience in carrying and storing connectors, the Power Pouch's press-to-close zipper prevents wire connectors from spilling out from an opened bag on a jobsite, inside a tool bag, or in the back of an electrician's truck, explained said Ned Camuti, vice president and general manager, Ideal Wire Termination.

With an eye toward merchandising in distributor counter areas, the retail-friendly packaging stands neatly on shelves and encourages impulse buying with its unique appearance.
