Advance Transformer Co., Rosemont, Ill., joined the U.S. Department of Energy's Rebuild America program as a Business Partner. In this role, Advance joins more than 100 select companies in supporting state and community partnerships and in helping drive the training and educational efforts that will improve energy efficiency throughout the nation's buildings and communities.

Launched in 1994, Rebuild America is a Department of Energy initiative that connects people, ideas, tools, and resources among communities, states and the private sector to reduce energy consumption through energy-efficient technologies, renewable energy sources, and efficient operations and maintenance practices, and to support the design and implementation of energy-based solutions to community needs.

“Advance is proud to join forces with the Rebuild America program, which has made tremendous inroads toward our collective goal of improving energy efficiency within our nation's buildings,” said Dave Levinson, vice president of marketing and product management for Advance.
