In 1963, the John Remke Co. opened its doors in downtown Chicago as a manufacturer of die-cast connectors and indenter fittings.

Today, corporate headquarters and production is located in Wheeling, Ill. Forty years later, Remke Industries has become a recognized leader in the manufacture of high-quality wire management products, molded connectors and customized solutions for its customers.

During the first ten years, Remke added product lines such as strain-relief connectors, cord grips and liquid-tight connectors to meet customer needs. In the 1970's, the company again expanded the product offering to include watertight hubs and wire mesh. In 1994, Remke introduced several new molded connectors for both power and signal applications.
