REMKE CELEBRATES 40 YEARS OF GROWTH Feb 1, 2003 12:00 PM In 1963, the John Remke Co. opened its doors in downtown Chicago as a manufacturer of die-cast connectors and indenter fittings. Today, corporate headquarters and production is located in Wheeling, Ill. Forty years later, Remke Industries has become a recognized leader in the manufacture of high-quality wire management products, molded connectors and customized solutions for its customers. During the first ten years, Remke added product lines such as strain-relief connectors, cord grips and liquid-tight connectors to meet customer needs. In the 1970's, the company again expanded the product offering to include watertight hubs and wire mesh.
