Universal Lighting Technologies, Nashville, Tenn., is pleased to announce Alliance Marketing, Ltd., Burnaby, B.C., will provide sales representation in British Columbia, starting Oct. 1.

Bridgeport Fittings, Stratford, Conn., has appointed Donald J. Hickey & Associates as its new sales representative in Michigan. Founded in 1966, the rep firm has offices in Novi and Rockford, Mich., represents 20 major electrical manufacturers and is managed by Brian, Michael and Patrick Hickey, sons of the company's founder.

Shat-R-Shield, Salisbury, N.C., named Syn-Tech Inc., Metairie, La., as the company's agent for Louisiana and southern Mississippi. In existence for over 30-years, Syn-Tech specializes in the marketing and sales of industrial and commercial electrical components including portable lighting, emergency lighting, hazardous area products, and now Shat-R-Shield shatter-resistant lamps. Craig Strickland has been Syn-Tech's president and owner since 2002.
