As a recipient of the Export Achievement Certificate for “Recent Accomplishments in the Global Marketplace,” the folks at Electric Supply of Tampa enjoyed a visit from U.S. Secretary of Commerce Don Evans. Evans presented the certificate and toured the facility in June.

The distributor, based in Tampa, Fla., established its International Sales Team in 1998. The multi-lingual team, with an expanded line card that includes both electrical and data communication products, currently serves customers in 39 Caribbean islands, Central America and South America.

Electric Supply of Tampa is a family-owned electrical and datacom distributor that employs 84 people and was ranked No. 115 on Electrical Wholesaling's 2002 listing of the “250 Biggest.”
