Transformer manufacturer Jefferson Electric, Franklin, Wis., has been named “Outstanding Supplier of the Year for Quality Excellence”, by Siemens' Building Technologies Division for their low-voltage transformers. To qualify for this award, Jefferson Electric posted highest overall ranking in three categories: time delivery, logistics, quality and technology.

Jefferson Electric was presented with the award during a conference for Siemens' strategic suppliers. The conference was a one-day review of Siemens quality and sourcing initiatives for the upcoming year. It was also an opportunity for suppliers to meet some of the people they work with on a daily basis, but had yet to meet in person.

“Outstanding Supplier of the Year for Quality Excellence,” was the top of three awards, given away at the conference. The other awards were, “Most Improved Quality” and “Best Overall Quality.”

Stephen Paul, COO of Jefferson Electric said, “To receive recognition like this award, is a tribute across all operational groups within Jefferson.”
