John Wagner of KR Star Electrical Contractors in Beaumont, Texas, walked away with $175 worth of free tools as the winner of a recent Summit Electric Supply promotion highlighting its partnership with Klein Tools. Wagner won a package of Klein products that included pliers, screwdrivers, a tape measure, tool pouch, safety glasses and more. Chris Rybacki, the Summit service center leader in Beaumont, said the event included a lunch of hamburgers and spicy links with about 40 of Summit's regular customers — and a few new ones. Wagner's name was picked in a drawing. Summit Electric Supply Co. Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., ranked No. 23 in Electrical Wholesaling's 2006 Top 200 listing with about $267.7 million in 2005 revenue and 19 locations.
