WESCO nails bid for Sonoma School District solar job

WESCO Distribution Inc., Pittsburgh, is working with Solectria Renewables, LLC, Lawrence, Mass., a PV inverter manufacturer, to supply products for several solar installations for the Sonoma Valley Unified School District (SVUSD). The PV systems will provide a combined total of 2.5MW and will be made up of 19 carport shade arrays, three ground-mount systems and six shade structures at 10 schools across the district. Solectria worked closely with WESCO and Roebbelen Contracting, Inc., a general contractor on the project. Solectria will supply inverters ranging from 13kW to 300kW.
