Helping to turn browsers into buyers, McGill, Rosemont, Ill., is offering its distributors an easy-to-assemble String-O-Lights floor display along with a free lantern for their initial order of six String-O-Lights packages. Distributors will continue to receive a free lantern for every additional order of six String-O-Lights they place.

The promotion runs from now through Dec. 31. Designed to prime the impulse-buying pump, the new display is uniquely suited to hold String-O-Lights packaging. It features durable cardboard construction and powerful, hard-selling graphics in traditional McGill yellow and black. The displays can be used to hold open conductor, flat wire and single cable styles of String-O-Lights.

McGill String-O-Lights are available in packages containing five to ten socket-and-cage assemblies on 50- to 200-foot lengths of cable. To assure fast installation, as well as hassle-free relamping, String-O-Lights features a patented cage design that snaps open and closed without the need for tools. The safety yellow cages are built from durable, impact-resistant plastic and accommodate up to 200W lamps.
