EIS Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the publicly held Genuine Parts Co. has acquired Connect-Air International Inc., Seattle, from Wincove Capital. Connect-Air is a specialty distributor of low-voltage wire and cable used in critical building applications, primarily HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning), security and fire alarm systems. It services the United States from seven sales offices and warehouses across the country. The company, which has been owned by Wincove Capital since 2008, focuses on building control systems that manage commercial, institutional and multi-family residential buildings.
EIS’ parent company, Genuine Parts is a distributor of automotive replacement parts in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Australasia that logged $15.3 billion in 2014 revenues. The company also distributes industrial replacement parts in the U.S., Canada and Mexico through its Motion Industries subsidiary. S. P. Richards Co., the Office Products Group, distributes business products in the U.S. and Canada.
