Sonepar announced an overall restructuring along regional lines to integrate the operations of Hagemeyer North America with its Sonepar units. The combination is intended to enhance the company's market coverage, delivery support and operational best practices.

The company announced in June that Dave Gabriel, region president, North America, and Kathy Rusko region CFO, North America, have leadership responsibility for all Sonepar operations in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The rest of the organization is now structured along the following lines:

Paul Klasing will continue in his role as president of Sonepar USA with expanded responsibilities to include Hagemeyer USA. Klasing will report to Gabriel.

Jay Bricker, currently the senior vice president of supplier and vendor relations, marketing, communications and business development for Sonepar USA, will continue in his role with his responsibilities now expanded to include electrical supplier and vendor negotiations for Hagemeyer USA. (Hagemeyer USA's contact for Industrial and Safety suppliers partners remains unchanged.) Bricker will report to Klasing.

Lisa Mitchell, currently the CFO of Hagemeyer North America, has been appointed president of Hagemeyer USA. Lisa will be responsible for all segments of the HNA business with the exception of Tristate and Georgia business locations, and will report to Klasing.

To maximize regional synergies, the company has redesigned its organizational model so that each operating company will continue to operate under their current brand and will focus on their local market needs while leveraging each other's strengths in the areas of sales and margin management, logistics capabilities, supplier relations and operational excellence, the company said.

In the Midwest/West region, Viking Electric Supply, Brook Electrical and Eoff Electric Supply are coming together as one region led by Greg Hames, president, Viking Electric Supply. Hames will work closely with Les Williamson, president of Eoff, and Mike Wall, president of Brook.

In N.Y.-N.J.-Pa., Cooper Electric and Friedman Electric are coming together as one region led by Mike Dudas, president of Cooper Electric Supply. Dudas will work closely with Rob Friedman, president of Friedman, and Rich Potero, general manager of Friedman.

ESSCO, Stuart C. Irby, and Warren Del Caribe (WDC) are coming together as one region led by Mike Wigton, president of Stuart C. Irby. Wigton will work closely with Scott Tonn, president of ESSCO, and Mark Alspaugh, president of WDC.

Crawford Electric and Northeast Electrical will remain under the leadership of Jeff Metzler, president of Crawford, and Don Block, president, NorthEast Electrical.

In the South, the ten locations of Hagemeyer USA Georgia operations and the 14 locations of World Electric Supply will partner to leverage synergies and growth opportunities in the Georgia and Florida markets. Chris Union, long-time Hagemeyer Electrical business leader, has been appointed president of this combined organization. Dick Coates will continue to play an integral role as vice president and general manager of the region, reporting to Union.

In the Mid-Atlantic region, Capital Lighting and Supply and the Mid-Atlantic sites of Hagemeyer (formerly Tristate Electrical & Electronics) are joining forces as one region under John Hardy as president (see below).
