Stanion Wholesale Electric Co., Pratt, Kan., hosted its eighth annual Charity Golf Classic for Special Olympics. This year's event was held at Falcon Lakes Golf Club in Basehor, Kan., and raised $77,500, which brings the event's eight-year fund-raising total to $614,000.

Otto Buche, executive vice-president of Stanion, was tournament chairman. Proceeds from the Stanion Golf Classic continue to support Special Olympics Kansas. These funds help thousands of children and adults with intellectual disabilities participate in quality sports programs across the state.
