Affiliated Distributors (A-D), King of Prussia, Pa., presented its Recognition of Excellence awards for the Electrical Supply Division in October at its annual North American Meeting in Dallas.

The Recognition of Excellence Awards celebrate the efforts and successes of A-D's top performing affiliates and preferred suppliers. "By having Preferred Suppliers nominate Affiliates for excellence in certain categories, and vice versa, each nominee takes great pride in earning the recognition from their business peers," said Steve Ruane, vice president of marketing.

The top awards, Canadian Affiliate of the Year and U.S. Affiliate of the Year, were presented to Liteco, Fredericton, New Brunswick; and Hughes Supply Inc., Orlando, Fla.

Cooper Bussmann, St. Louis; and Philips Lighting Canada walked away with the Supplier of the Year awards for United States and Canada. The Supplier of the Year awards are the highest honors A-D can bestow upon a supplier company.

Other awards presented: Affiliate Excellence in Marketing went to Mayer Electric Supply Co., Birmingham, Ala.; and Fromm Electric Supply Corp., Reading, Pa. The Affiliate Applied Technology award went to North Coast Electric Co., Bellevue, Wash.; the Affiliate Customer Satisfaction award went to Stokes Electric Co., Knoxville, Tenn.

Affiliate Teamwork awards went to Daltco Electric & Supply Ltd., Kingston, Ontario; Electra Supply Inc., Waterloo, Ontario; Electrozad Supply Co., Windsor, Ontario; Gerrie Electric Wholesale Ltd., Burlington, Ontario; House of Electrical Supplies Ltd., Scarborough, Ontario; Ideal Supply Co. Ltd., Listowel, Ontario; MGM Electric Limited, Thunder Bay, Ontario.

The Supplier Excellence in Marketing award went to Ideal Industries Inc., Sycamore, Ill. The award for Best Conversion went to Lithonia Lighting/Tristate Electrical Electronics Supply Co. Inc., Hagerstown, Md. The award for Excellence in Service and Logistics, went to Advance Transformer, Rosemont, Ill.; and the award for the Best A-D Exclusive Marketing Promotion went to Panduit Corp., Tinley Park, Ill.
