Affiliated Distributors (A-D), King of Prussia, Pa., presented its Recognition of Excellence Awards for the Electrical Supply Division in September at its annual North American Meeting in Nashville, Tenn.
The awards honor outstanding achievement in three main areas: local support for affiliates, marketing and overall commitment and performance to A-D.
“Success as an A-D affiliate or supplier depends on how well we work together in the local marketplace,” said Bill Weisberg, A-D's chairman and CEO. “A-D recognized those suppliers who best educate their local organizations or internal sales force on A-D's value. They are companies who provide their salespeople with the necessary sales tools, develop innovative programs and regularly monitor results.”
New to A-D's slate of awards this year was the Excellence in Local Support award. A-D recognized three Electrical Supplier companies in this category for best use of independent representative companies, best use of a direct sales force, and excellent local representation for the Canadian electrical affiliates.
