Hughes Supply Inc., Orlando, FL., On June 10, 2003 Hughes Supply hosted their second of many events to celebrate their 75th anniversary and to highlight their services to prospective and current customers in the Central Florida market. The celebration took place at the Daytona International Speedway.

Hughes hopes to attract over 1,000 customers. Lee Flasher, National Director of Sales at Hughes, said, "Many of our vendors who attended the Atlanta event told me that in their many years in the industry they have never participated in an event that was as successful as that one."

Tom Morgan, President and CEO added, "After the success in Atlanta, we feel very confident that all of our future events will be successful. Thanks to the outstanding support of our customer and vendors, we are able to renew our promise to be the best in customer service."

Hughes' first event in Atlanta was a huge success, attracting over 1,500 customers. The event was held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Through a random drawing, 100 customers were given a free Richard Petty Driving Experience. Free food and drinks and discounts with vendors also helped attract customers.

Hughes will host 11 more events similar to this one in other cities, including Tampa, FL, Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte , NC, Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Dallas/FW, TX, Ft. Myers/Naples, FL, and Miami, FL.

Hughes Supply, Inc., founded in 1928 and headquartered in Orlando, FL, distributes construction and infrastructure materials through more than 450 locations in 34 states.
