Gil Amestoy of Eoff Electric Supply in Portland, Oregon, was awarded the Energy Trust of Oregon's top distributor award in January. This is the fourth year in a row that Amestoy and Eoff received this award. Eoff coordinated projects saving over 2.5 million kWh for businesses and organizations in Oregon and southwestern Washington in 2008.

“My favorite part of this job is presenting the cash incentive checks to the customers. Their excitement and surprise, even though they knew they would receive the cash incentive, is very fun to see,” said Amestoy. “We can take all the guesswork and hassle out of a lighting upgrade, which just so happens to save a ton of electricity. And on top of that, we coordinate getting a large portion of that lighting upgrade paid for through tax rebates and cash incentives.
