Varon Lighting Inc., Wauconda, Ill., named David Walsh president and chief operating officer of the company's Manufacturers' Lighting L.L.C. subsidiary, also known as Malcor. He was most recently regional vice president in charge of OEM sales for Venture Lighting. Warren Hecht has been named vice president and chief financial officer for Varon Lighting.

BICSI, Tampa, Fla., the international telecommunications association has elected five officers to its board of directors. Board members are elected by the general membership and serve two-year terms.
